The food is delicious. It's always fresh when you come during peak hours. My only real complaint is when you come at say 2:30 the trays are almost empty and by the time they bring the dish you want out your are about done. Saying that however this is the best tasting Chinese in the area and we come back every single time we are in town. The price is also very good for a buffet.

Just passing through and saw the Chinese Buffet, and while most buffets are not great, you can always at least find something good enough to fill you up. But this place, wowza, every single dish was incredibly delicious. The Orange Chicken wasn't artificially nuclear orange and corn syrup too sweet, it was just perfect and it actually had some heat. I wish this was my local place. There were tons of locals in there too so you know this place is excellent. Highly recommend if you are driving through and want a nice delicious meal. Prices are reasonable, the lunch Buffet was $8.99.

The service was good but the food was just ok. Some of the dishes were cold. Not much variety compared to other buffets.

If you need to satisfy some Chinese food cravings, this is the place! They have a buffet and serve some phenomenal drinks. The portions are nice, and the sauces are not too heavy (like some other places have). The food never ceases to be delicious.

We love grabbing lunch here whenever were in Spearfish and want a quick bite. There is always plenty of food and is usually fresh. Lots of options and good quality. Nice staff as well.

Lunch is 9 bucks, dinner is 12. Prices are great. Selection is great. Great options for children and vegetarians. Customer service was very friendly. Atmosphere is awesome. They even got a father yelling at his daughter in Chinese in the back which really added to the authenticity. 10/10.

I absolutely LOVE this place. They treat you like family. They always ask how my family and pets are doing and the food is always delicious. I've been a patron for several years now and have never had a bad experience whether dining in, carrying out, or having it delivered.

Not great. You can tell not a lot of care was involved in preparing our meal. Very poor quality food. Tough meat. Cold soup. Dry rice. However the staff was very very nice.

Parking is limited because of being downtoun. The booth I set in was well used. Food for men, I liked. My wife noticed most dishes were spicier than she liked.

This is my go to for Chinese food in the Northern Hills! Awesome buffet, always stocked up regardless of time. The staff is super friendly and greets everyone that comes in. 🙂

Jade Palace has been a staple of Spearfish for a long time and I greatly welcome many more years of great food.This is what American Chinese Food should taste like. Every occasion I have ordered both take away and buffet, I have never been disappointed by the friendly service, the excellent food selection and the comfortable atmosphere. Make your next night out a Jade Palace night.

Love this buffet! It's a small town. So imagine trying to run a buffet when customers are not continuous. I go during standard dinner or lunch hours and the food is fresh. It's not high end but I really enjoy it. Give it a try.

Good food but they were very low on most items. Had to get up to ask for drink refills and the buffet is smaller compared to others in the area. Not to clean looking.

We eat here at least once a month. Absolutely love it. Good selection. Fair price. Wait staff is on the ball as far as clearing plates and bringing refills. Love the curry noodles and hot and sour soup. Husband is a big fan of General Tso Chicken. We definitely recommend eating here!

As trucker i would have never thought that town was so developed...and Jade Palace is a Gem in that town...food taste very good...and the lady i spoke to had a very radiant smile, kinda makes you want to buy more...i like her

Fresh, hot food, with clean tables and plates. Inexpensive to average pricing. Nothing fancy or scary, just standard wok-cooked and fried items executed well. Clean, working restrooms are a bonus. This place is worth a stop.

Every experience I have had here has been pleasant. They have awesome vegetarian options and are always so kind! Delivery service is great and the woman who is always there is so sweet. It makes my day interacting with her. Great people, great business and I take pride in supporting this establishment.

This is by far the best Chinese buffet restaurant I've ever eaten at! AMAZING food: not buffet quality at all! We were on a road trip through the western US and stopped in Spearfish looking for a place to eat. Went in with very low expectations (most buffets aren't that great) but this one was a real find! The quality of the food was better than most sit-down order-from-the-menu restaurants and there was a huge selection to choose from. There were entrees for every taste: mild, spicy and even stuff for kids, and desserts too! VERY friendly staff and just a great place for lunch. This place made me wish I lived in Spearfish! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
